On 28/04/2021, i reported this story >Kojo Oppong Nkrumah Storms ObonuTV – Stops A Live TV Program And Demanded To Use Studio By Force< which tried to inform that the minister of information had done the unthinkable.
The report immediately attracted massive attention and reaction from all levels, ranging from the ordinaries, professionals, the politicians and the National Media Commission.
It is very clear that the majority of those who read my report missed something crucial; that I was orally reporting an image that was captured in the minds of some people when an incident occurred.
I categorically made it clear to the PRO of the minister of information when he called me to ask questions that i had no evil intention against the honourable minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, and i will gain nothing for tarnishing his image. I am a fan of the minister.
Infact,I wasn’t happy when I heard the report and I doubted the report a little so i was determined to call his attention for an opportunity to let him know that ‘this is what some people are thinking that he did at ObonuTV.Is it wrong for me to do that?
The Director-General Of GBC, Prof Amin Allhasan, called me directly after his attention was drawn to the news item and told me he wanted the name of whoever gave me the information so that he can call the person and advice him or her; But then the approach he used on me was threatening because he warned that if i don’t mention the name of whoever informed me of the incident at ObonuTV, he will apply every resource available to him to drag me to anywhere that can force me to mention the name.
He even went further to warn me that he will shut down my Radio Station if I refuse to cooperate.
This threatening approach betrays or undermines Prof Amin Allhasan’s claim that he only wanted to call the person and advice. If you genuinely want to call someone and only advice, will you be forced to use such a ‘threatening approach’ in order to get the name of the person?…
FASLH BACK:On 28th April 2021 between 8:00 and 9:00am,two ‘mysterious gentlemen’ whose identity Nsemka.Com still don’t know, walked into ObonuTV studio and ordered an active live show to be cut short with a reason that the minister and a team needs the studio urgently. It wasn’t a normal thing at GBC because it is against its policy so these two gentlemen were questioned where the order came from, which they answered, “the order is from above.” Their reponse immediately triggered an impression as if ‘the order came from Kojo Oppong Nkrumah the information minister’…
Why didn’t they just say ‘the order came from the Director-General or who ever ? Which not only would have been a very responsible reply…but also wouldn’t have created a misleading image in the minds of the witnesses present.
Hadn’t it be my report, wouldn’t the people who were present when the incident happened have gone to their various homes with the impression that ‘ on that fateful day the minister of information had come to ObonuTV and used his ministerial powers to stop a live show just because he wanted to use the studio ?…what shows that they will not share the misinformation with others?…Can we know or guess how far the misinformation will travel once shared with other? wouldn’t that shared misinformation do more damage to reputation?
...and lots of people will think that on so so and so date, the minister of information had come to ObonuTV and used his ministerial powers to stop a live show just because he wanted to use the studio? Hasn’t my report done a lot of good to ignite reactions that had prompted the minister’s office to contact me, and open up an opportunity for the matter to straighten up for all those who thought it was the minister who ordered for the live show to be cut short to know the truth that the minister had nothing to do with that order?
Hadn’t it be my report, wouldn’t the Director-General still be unaware that this was what really happened behind closed doors when the two gentlemen went to secure a studio for the minister?
Had my report not done more good than damage? for which i am being threatened? Where are we going as a people and as a nation with these kinds of fearful mentality that does nothing but only water and fuel the culture of silence?
Must one fall into any dangerous attacks that can even end lives simply because they have ensured that something done somewhere wasn’t done right and therefore needs attention?
How and why must my entire life be put into threat as a result of unearthing bad deeds in our public sphere? In that regards, where exactly did i go wrong?
A lot of threats has been hitting me since i published this report…Some say my headline is misleading and too strong… but then reporting a dito-dito version of what some people captured in their minds shouldn’t endanger my life this far…unless we’re still living in those times where it’s the order of the day where powers that be will go every length to silence or punish anyone who tries to pinpoint things that are not done right?.. Is this not the simple reason why Anas Aremeyaw Anas hides behind a mask ?..for fear of being. assassinated? Are we trying to insinuate that, if we see something wrongly done, we should just watch and go our way?
The minister of information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah did not stop any live show at ObonuTV and demanded to use the studio by force neither did he order anyone to do that for him…like the impression the two gentlemen created when they came to order the live show to be cut short because the minister and team need the studio…and when asked where such order came from, they replied ‘from above’…instead of just mentioning the name of whoever sent them…and make things clear.
The Director-General Of GBC, Prof Amin Allhasan told me in a telephonie that he doesn’t get himself involved in studio management at GBC, in other words, he did not interfere with any live show at ObonuTV on that fateful day…and if he didn’t..who then did? And is the Director-General really in charge at all?
It’s now very clear that ObonuTV must also be bold enough to outline the details of what really happened; that is only when they are approached and questioned…and also pinpoint how the two gentlemen did it…ObonuTV stands a good chance to help authorities identify what must be corrected to prevent any repetition.
Wouldn’t it be fair enough if my cherished readers globally are updated if these two gentlemen have been identified and questioned?
i hereby close this report with no intention to return to it no more, unless i receive more threats that will force me to fire back with some standby ‘torpedo audios’ that is strong enough to crack some heads…And to make things clearer, the content of this audio, I have never mentioned in any of my two previous update reports, neither have I mentioned whose voice…
Sometimes, if you are angrily talking on the phone to someone you don’t really know well, be mindful of your words.
Meanwhile, i put my life and that of my family into the hands of The Creator Of All Creations. May he continue to protect us from all enemy destructive plans and put those enemies to shame permanently. Amen
UPDATE: Interestingly, my website nsemka.com which reported the stories on this ObonuTV incident has suddenly come under something that looks like a hacking attempt as reported by our online login security; someone is trying to login into the website’s WordPress dashboard where the stories are posted from. But I can assure whoever that person is that he or she is just wasting resources.
